Following with the theme track of the 2012 Costume College-"The Golden Age of Hollywood", my theme will be "The Golden Age of Hollywood Movies".
I want to give everyone the opportunity to come dressed in their Hollywood finest and walk the red carpet to the Academy Awards and an elegant afternoon tea. Pick a movie star or a character from your favorite movie from the 1930s-1950s. They even had gangsters back then.
Have you ever wondered what happened to those lesser known movies that didn’t win an award, or even a mention? Our "Fantasy Academy Awards" will finally bring the merit they deserve and you all will be part of the ceremony and the lucky winners of the drawings will receive the prize and read your acceptance speech. But these will be speeches like you’ve never heard before.
Dress for the tea can be afternoon casual or evening elegant. But dahling, you know you want to wow us when you receive your award! And leave your machine guns at the door.

Should you wish to have a vegetarian option, be sure to request that when you purchase your ticket. If you wish to have the regular tea, you do not need to request it. Please note that no substitutions or changes can be made to any of the menu choices.
Reselling of tea tickets between private parties will not be monitored by CGW in any way. No tickets will be available at the Tea. There may also be tickets available via private sale during the weekend of Costume College. Please check the Message Board, which will be posted near the Information Desk during Costume College.
